- cooking experience in a healthcare facility preferred
Job Duties
- prepare all hot food and entrees using standardized recipes
- ensure safe food handling and hygiene practices
- manage rotation of foods in freezer and refrigerators to maintain freshness
- function as lead cook and make decisions in absence of chef, manager or food service lead
- teach and coach new cooking staff
- maintain cleanliness and organization of cooking area
- ensure compliance with dietary department standards
