Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous culinary experience required
Knowledge of food safety regulations
Ability to follow dietary guidelines
Strong knife skills
Good communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

Previous experience in a dietary department or as a dietary aide is preferred
Background in menu planning and fine dining service is highly desirable
Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and general kitchen operations within the food industry
Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations is essential
Experience in catering or restaurant environments will be considered an asset
Culinary experience that showcases strong knife skills and meal preparation techniques is required

Job Duties

Meal preparation and cooking, ensuring adherence to dietary guidelines and menu planning
Collaborate with the dietary department to create balanced menus that cater to various dietary restrictions
Provide exceptional food service in a fine dining environment, ensuring that meals are presented beautifully and served promptly
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, adhering to all food safety regulations
Handle food with care, demonstrating proper food handling techniques at all times
Support catering events by preparing and serving meals as needed
Utilize strong knife skills for meal preparation, ensuring all ingredients are prepared to specification
Engage with guests to provide excellent service, addressing any dietary inquiries or concerns
