Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 2 years of recent relevant experience in food service
- Knowledge of maintaining a safe food environment
- Ability to interpret written, oral, diagram, or schedule instructions
- Ability to instruct and supervise other employees
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Well-developed time management and organizational skills
- Basic knowledge of computer applications like Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to prioritize assignments and meet deadlines
- Capability to work independently and handle multiple tasks
- Problem-solving skills to evaluate and resolve issues
- Ability to build collaborative relationships with peers and staff
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Prepare and cook food according to established standards
- Ensure quality and presentation of meals for patients, staff, and visitors
- Instruct and supervise activities of other food service employees
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen work areas, dishes, and utensils
- Adhere to local, state, and federal food safety and sanitation regulations
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and hospital personnel
- Support catering functions and hospital food service operations
