Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
six months of prior experience in a food service department preferred
ability to obtain food handlers permit as required by state
must have compassion and desire to work with elderly
effective team player and individual worker
strong communication skills
meet health and background check requirements

Job Qualifications

supervisory experience desirable
food handlers permit as required by state regulations
previous experience working with elderly
compassion for elderly individuals
ability to work responsibly both independently and as part of a team
effective communication skills with residents, families, staff, and vendors
meet health requirements and pass background checks

Job Duties

Order food supplies and manage inventory
prepare meals in a nutritious and attractive manner
maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen
ensure all kitchen equipment is properly used and maintained
provide excellent customer service to residents and staff
assist in training new kitchen staff
adhere to all health and safety regulations
