- High school diploma or equivalent
- six months of prior experience in a food service department preferred
- ability to obtain food handlers permit as required by state
- must have compassion and desire to work with elderly
- effective team player and individual worker
- strong communication skills
- meet health and background check requirements

Job Duties
- Order food supplies and manage inventory
- prepare meals in a nutritious and attractive manner
- maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen
- ensure all kitchen equipment is properly used and maintained
- provide excellent customer service to residents and staff
- assist in training new kitchen staff
- adhere to all health and safety regulations
