Job Requirements
- Line cook experience in a full scratch kitchen or restaurant
- 2 to 5 years experience on a fast-paced line or working a prep cook station
- Ability to execute flawless dishes in a timely manner
- Ability to communicate with a friendly demeanor to all staff
- Passionate about service and creating exceptional food experiences
- Must pass a criminal background check and health screening, including physical and TB tests
- Must comply with Oakmont Management Group's health and safety protocols including vaccination, screening, surveillance testing, and use of PPE as required
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 to 5 years of experience as a line cook in a full scratch kitchen or restaurant
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment
- Ability to execute dishes accurately and promptly
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Passion for providing exceptional food experiences
- Ability to maintain composure in fast-paced environments
Job Duties
- Prepare and cook meals from scratch according to seasonal menus
- Ensure the quality and presentation of all dishes
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to develop menu ideas
- Interact positively with residents and guests to enhance their dining experience
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards
- Manage food inventory and assist with ordering supplies
