Job Requirements

  • Meet minimum age requirements
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Ability to bend, reach, crouch, and safely lift up to 30 pounds
  • Ability to stand for 8 to 12 hours per shift
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Detail-oriented and able to multitask

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous cooking or kitchen experience preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to follow recipes and portion control guidelines
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively

Job Duties

  • Accommodate and stock preparation and line stations
  • Clean, sanitize, and organize kitchen area, equipment, and utensils
  • Check the quality and freshness of ingredients
  • Prepare, season, and cook food according to recipes, indicated quantities, and specifications while maintaining portion control systems
  • Inspect food preparation and serving areas, utensils, and equipment to ensure adherence to safe and sanitary food handling practices
  • Substitute for or assist other cooks and kitchen stations during peak activity periods
