Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of kitchen experience
  • Familiarity with large production volume
  • Knowledge of ingredients and cooking techniques
  • Basic food safety and hygiene awareness
  • Ability to work flexible shifts
  • Energetic and organized
  • Culinary arts certificate preferred

Job Qualifications

  • A full time Cook who is energetic, hard-working, organized, and familiar with working in fast-paced environments
  • Minimum of 2 year of experience in kitchen preferably with large production volume
  • Knowledge of ingredients, measuring techniques, mixing methods, kitchen equipment, and cooking times
  • Certificate in culinary arts, or a relevant field is desirable
  • Must have flexibility to work various shifts according to business needs

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook items according to specification/recipe
  • Ensure that all dishes served meet the DO & CO standard
  • Act as a role model while taking part in service - preparing and cooking dishes
  • Monitor wastage and complete assigned tasks on multiple stations within the given time to meet strict deadlines
  • Always keep the immediate work area clean and perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
  • Comply with all food safety and hygiene regulations as stated in the food safety management system handbook
  • Report problems with the food safety management system to their manager and the hygiene and food safety team
