Job Requirements
- Must obey all State and Federal guidelines regarding food handling procedures and safety policies
- Wear clean complete uniform at all times: black pants, white collar dress shirt and solid black tie or (optional) Vallarta shirt, black non-slip shoes, hair net/Vallarta hat, and clean apron
- Wear safety glove when using knives
- Wash hands frequently (at least every 20 minutes) with hot water and anti-microbial soap from elbows down for no less than 20 seconds
- Lift boxes and product ranging between 20 lbs up to 60 lbs
- Place boxes/product onto dolly or cart
- Push/pull between 30 lbs up to 200 lbs (items on cart/dolly)
Job Qualifications
- Lift boxes and product ranging between 5 lbs up to 60 lbs
- Place boxes/product onto dolly, cart or preparation table
- Push/pull between 10 lbs up to 350 lbs (items on cart/dolly)
- Bend/Stoop to pick up and/or place product below waist level (including shelves and racks)
- Grasp/Grip product to prepare for sales floor by either cutting or cleaning product
- Assist with sweeping/pushing broom to pick up debris to keep work area clean
- Reach above shoulder level (kitchen product placement on sales floor plus shelving/rack system in kitchen warehouse areas)
- Place debris/trash/recycle cardboard in respective areas
Job Duties
- Maintain assigned work area clean at all times (sweep, mop, clear of dirt, etc.)
- Ensure all food items are properly covered and stored at required temperatures (cold-cold
- hot-hot)
- Prepare food as needed
- Follow management directions and promote teamwork
- Assist and participate with Company marketing promotional events and programs as needed
- Perform all other assigned job duties
