Job Requirements

Must meet minimum age requirement and be authorized to work in the United States
Ability to bend, reach, crouch and safely lift up to 30 pounds
Capacity to stand for an 8 to 12 hour shift
Ability to work as part of a team with attention to detail and multitasking ability

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous cooking or food preparation experience beneficial
Ability to follow recipes and portion control guidelines
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Job Duties

Accommodate and stock preparation and line stations
Clean, disinfect and organize kitchen area, equipment and utensils
Check the quality and freshness of ingredients
Prepare, season and cook food according to recipes, specified quantities and specifications while maintaining portion control systems
Inspect food preparation and serving areas, utensils and equipment to ensure compliance with safe and sanitary food handling practices
Substitute for or assist other cooks and kitchen stations during peak activity periods
