Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years old or older
- Ability to lift and carry supplies and equipment up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand and walk for 4 to 8 hour shifts
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, wipe, lift and grasp
- Ability to work inside and outside the restaurant
- Ability to read tickets, recipes and product specifications
- Ability to hear well in a noisy environment
- Ability to tolerate extreme temperature changes in kitchen and freezer areas
- Must meet health and safety regulations concerning food handling
- Ability to work with potentially hazardous chemicals
- Must meet company uniform and grooming standards
- Must pass all required tests and training for the position
- Must possess excellent guest service skills
- Must possess reasonable English communication skills
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule including holidays, nights and weekends

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous cooking or food preparation experience in a restaurant setting preferred
- Knowledge of safe food handling regulations
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, fryers, and griddles
- Strong product and menu knowledge
- Basic math skills including understanding units of measure
- Effective communication skills in English both orally and in writing
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Dependability and ability to follow instructions
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Prepare, cook and present food to order following company brand standards and recipe specifications
- Follow correct prepping procedures and properly store and rotate perishable stock
- Maintain proper food temperatures in accordance with brand standards and regulations
- Prepare special orders as requested
- Maintain stock to shift par levels
- Organize and maintain work areas, coolers, and storage areas
- Clean and take proper care of kitchen equipment
- Adhere to all safe food handling principles
- Complete side work and deep cleaning assignments timely
- Monitor waste and food cost controls
- Address complaints and concerns promptly and courteously
- Assist service assistants periodically
- Assist with product inventory and deliveries as needed
- Provide prompt and courteous service
