Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a high-volume cooking operation
- Ability to read and follow oral and written instructions
- Must pass a background check and meet corporate requirements
- Ability to work long and irregular hours including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must wear non-slip shoes
- Must comply with Health Department and ServSafe regulations
- Must maintain proper grooming and dress code
- Must have reliable transportation and be able to report on schedule
Job Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a high-volume cooking environment
- Ability to read and interpret recipes and safety instructions
- Intermediate knife and cooking skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance and work collaboratively in a team environment
- Ability to pass a background check
Job Duties
- Reports to work in proper uniform according to the scheduled time
- Follows instructions from Executive Chef and Sous Chef for each event
- Prepares hot and cold food according to standardized recipes
- Maintains safe and sanitary working conditions adhering to health and food safety regulations
- Operates kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Manages inventory including opening and closing counts
- Maintains food rotation using FIFO principles
- Cleans and organizes workstation at the end of shift
- Provides excellent customer service to guests and coworkers
- Works effectively under pressure while multitasking multiple orders
