Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of relevant cooking experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand and be on feet for extended periods
- Prior experience in cafeteria or large volume production kitchen preferred
- Familiarity with food safety procedures
- Must be at least 18 years of age

- Experience in multitasking in a fast-paced kitchen

Job Duties
- Refer to daily prep list at the start of each shift for assigned duties and complete opening and closing checklists daily
- Set up workstation with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
- Safely use a variety of kitchen utensils including knives and other items
- Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, and mixers
- Follow standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen rules
- Handle, store, label, and rotate all products according to state laws
- Stock and maintain sufficient food products at line stations for smooth serving
- Understand menu items and prep ingredients accordingly
- Multitask efficiently in a high-volume kitchen environment
- Manage hot and cold work conditions during food preparation
- Perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, pushing, kneeling, walking, and standing for extended periods
- Stand for much of the scheduled shift
- Perform other related duties as assigned
