Job Requirements

  • Must have knowledge of food preparation and storage, sanitation requirements and commercial kitchen equipment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Majority of shift will be spent on feet in a fast-paced environment and in close proximity to other people
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally
  • Frequent bending, twisting, lifting and squatting will be required

Job Qualifications

  • Experience of 2-3 years in a restaurant environment preferred
  • Knowledge of food preparation and storage
  • Understanding of sanitation requirements and commercial kitchen equipment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook food items to ensure the highest quality service and experience for customers
  • Ensure ingredients and final products are fresh
  • Follow recipes including measuring, weighing and mixing ingredients
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area, including handling utensils, equipment and dishes
  • Maintain food safety and sanitation standards including for work areas and equipment
  • Execute opening and closing procedures
  • Complete all required food and safety logs
