Job Requirements
- Must have knowledge of food preparation and storage, sanitation requirements and commercial kitchen equipment
- Strong communication skills
- Majority of shift will be spent on feet in a fast-paced environment and in close proximity to other people
- Ability to lift 25 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Frequent bending, twisting, lifting and squatting will be required
Job Qualifications
- Experience of 2-3 years in a restaurant environment preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation and storage
- Understanding of sanitation requirements and commercial kitchen equipment
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Prepare and cook food items to ensure the highest quality service and experience for customers
- Ensure ingredients and final products are fresh
- Follow recipes including measuring, weighing and mixing ingredients
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, including handling utensils, equipment and dishes
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards including for work areas and equipment
- Execute opening and closing procedures
- Complete all required food and safety logs
