Job Requirements
- Ability to read, write, and understand sufficient English
- one year experience in quantity food production in a restaurant or institutional environment
- working knowledge of HACCP and safety regulations
- ability to demonstrate creativity in food preparation
- must obtain San Bernardino County Food Handlers Card within 30 days of hire
- ability to use quantity food preparation equipment
- ability to perform essential physical job requirements

Job Duties
- Follow standardized recipes and diagrams accurately
- consistently prepare high quality food items in required amounts for the designated service area
- set up and organize work area for preparing current day’s food items with all appropriate ingredients and equipment
- utilize quantity food preparation equipment properly
- adhere to HACCP and safety regulations
- demonstrate creativity in food preparation while maintaining compliance
- meet age specific competency and modified diet requirements
