Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- minimum one year of experience in large-scale cooking
- strong knowledge of large-scale and therapeutic food preparation
- reliable transportation to and from the facility
- ability to perform physical work including lifting and standing for long periods
- strong team player with excellent communication and customer service skills
- capable of managing the kitchen in the absence of the Food Service Director

Job Duties
- prepare cook and serve a variety of foods for residents ensuring high-quality meals
- bake rolls cookies cakes and pies following recipes and dietary specifications
- work on the tray line during meal service to ensure residents' meals are served efficiently and accurately
- maintain a clean kitchen including hand washing and sanitizing pots and pans
- clean kitchen areas and perform related tasks as needed
- manage the kitchen in the absence of the Food Service Director
