Job Description

Job Requirements

Cooking experience for a minimum of two years preferably in batch cooking
Ability to work well on a team
Dependability
Visual acuity to read production sheets, menus, and follow provided recipes
Must be at least 18 years old
Vaccinated against Influenza or have qualified exemption
Ability to follow safety, sanitation, and HACCP guidelines

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum two years cooking experience preferably in batch cooking
Ability to work well within a team
Dependability and reliability
Visual acuity to read production sheets, menus, and recipes
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

Job Duties

Report to Executive Chef, Sous Chef, and Production Manager
Responsible for quality and quantity of food prepared and served
Use Culinary Production Records (CPR) and standardized recipes to produce menu items in correct portions and amounts
Assist other kitchens with food preparation when needed
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas
Follow proper HACCP procedures
Ensure safety standards and equipment maintenance
