Job Requirements

  • minimum education level as defined by state hiring policies
  • ability to work scheduled hours including weekends, holidays, early mornings, or early evenings, and overtime as needed
  • ability to pass a physical evaluation and meet physical requirements including lifting up to 30 pounds and pushing 100-pound carts
  • successful completion of a background check
  • required TB test prior to start date
  • eligibility to work in the United States
  • compliance with all departmental and state regulations related to food preparation and safety

Job Qualifications

  • ability to work scheduled hours including weekends, holidays, early mornings, or early evenings, and overtime as needed
  • ability to follow written and oral instructions and accept work assignment changes as needed
  • knowledge of basic sanitation, hand washing, and safety standards in a food service environment
  • ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing

Job Duties

  • prepare, modify, identify, distribute, and store fresh, frozen, and dry food items according to requirements and standards
  • maintain orderliness and cleanliness in food preparation areas
  • assist in any area as necessary
  • comply with all safety and sanitation regulations
  • follow written and oral instructions
  • adapt to work assignment changes as needed
  • support the kitchen team to ensure timely meal service
