1-2 years' dietary experience required preferably in an acute or long term care environment
high school diploma or equivalent required
completion of food safety/sanitation course required

Job Duties

ensures that all residents are treated fairly with kindness dignity and respect and their rights are protected at all times
respects and upholds all residents' personal and property rights whenever carrying out duties including knocking before entering a resident's room
prepares meals in accordance with planned menus standardized recipes therapeutic diets and authorized substitutions
prepares and serves meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance
prepares food in accordance with sanitary regulations as well as with established policies and procedures
