Job Requirements

  • Ability to read, speak, and communicate in English
  • Willingness to work weekends, holidays, overtime or as business needs dictate
  • Good physical condition capable of standing for extended periods and lifting 50 lbs regularly
  • Ability to demonstrate proper safe lifting techniques
  • Following all Twigs policies
  • Calm and organized under pressure
  • Commitment to teamwork and support of management's vision
  • Effective communication with management and team members
  • Knowledge of and adherence to all Regional Health District rules, laws, and regulations
  • Wearing a chef's hat on the front line or buffet duty
  • Use of sanitizer buckets and frequent glove use when handling certain foods
  • Prevent cross contamination in food prep and storage
  • Reporting all safety violations and accidents immediately to management
  • Familiarity with emergency exits and safety materials

  • Food safety and sanitation training meeting Regional Health District requirements

Job Duties

  • Follow all plating and presentation guidelines with appropriate garnishes and components
  • Arrange knives safely away from cutting boards
  • Keep work area free of clutter
  • Gather utensils and equipment needed for the station
  • Complete prep list from the morning shift
  • Ensure fryer, broiler, griddle, salamander, oven, and steam table are on and at proper temperatures
  • Fully complete dinner breakdown and proper storage
  • Assist other areas as needed or directed demonstrating team spirit
  • Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and safety standards throughout the shift
  • Wipe down and sanitize work area regularly
  • Turn off equipment at the end of shift
  • Properly cover and store all food
  • Check out with Chef or supervisor before leaving
  • Punch out in uniform daily
