Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • prior experience in cooking or food preparation preferred
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • compliance with health and safety regulations

Job Duties

  • Prepares Hot Choice Buffet products according to Golden Corral recipes and procedures
  • grills all items to standards ensuring quality
  • ensures fried products are fresh and hot
  • restocks items at Display Cooking Station if Buffet Attendant is unavailable
  • assists guests with carved meat options if Carver is unavailable
  • follows buffet production system for quality and shelf life compliance
  • maintains correct temperature of all products during cooking holding and serving
