Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Some culinary schooling preferred
  • 0-3 years of related work experience
  • Equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required skills
  • ServSafe certification and or Food Handlers certification or enrollment in the certification course preferred
  • Availability to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to maintain professional demeanor and teamwork

Job Duties

  • Prepare food items in accordance with sanitary and food preparation standards
  • Ensure food quality and quantity meet resident needs in various care settings
  • Handle food safely and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen
  • Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
  • Collaborate with dining services team to provide excellent resident service
  • Adhere to professional standards and represent HumanGood positively
  • Follow all safety and sanitation protocols
