Job Requirements
- high school graduate or equivalent
- minimum of one year’s food service cooking experience in a healthcare or institutional setting
- ability to perform repetitive tasks
- skilled in food preparation according to approved recipes
- knowledge of HACCP and OSHA standards
- ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation
- friendly, cordial and reliable
- good organizational skills
Job Qualifications

- vocational training in quantity food preparation and sanitation preferred
- minimum of one year’s food service cooking experience in a healthcare facility, institution, or full-service restaurant under a qualified chef
- ability to follow directions and prioritize tasks
- friendly and reliable with good judgment
- experience in food handling and sanitation practices
Job Duties
- prepare food items according to weekly menus and approved recipes
- observe routine work schedules and departmental procedures
- maintain sanitary work areas, equipment, and utensils
- follow HACCP and OSHA standards in daily operations
- organize production schedules to meet operational demands
- promote good customer relations by providing quality products and responding promptly to requests
- report daily assignments to the Production Supervisor
