Job Requirements

high school graduate or equivalent
minimum of one year’s food service cooking experience in a healthcare or institutional setting
ability to perform repetitive tasks
skilled in food preparation according to approved recipes
knowledge of HACCP and OSHA standards
ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation
friendly, cordial and reliable
good organizational skills

Job Qualifications

high school graduate or equivalent
vocational training in quantity food preparation and sanitation preferred
minimum of one year’s food service cooking experience in a healthcare facility, institution, or full-service restaurant under a qualified chef
ability to follow directions and prioritize tasks
friendly and reliable with good judgment
experience in food handling and sanitation practices

Job Duties

prepare food items according to weekly menus and approved recipes
observe routine work schedules and departmental procedures
maintain sanitary work areas, equipment, and utensils
follow HACCP and OSHA standards in daily operations
organize production schedules to meet operational demands
promote good customer relations by providing quality products and responding promptly to requests
report daily assignments to the Production Supervisor
