Job Requirements

  • high school diploma preferred
  • food handlers card for applicable states (California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Nevada, Texas, Virginia)
  • 2 to 5 years experience in a fast-paced kitchen
  • ability to follow recipes and maintain quality standards
  • willingness to work flexible schedules
  • capacity to multitask and work under pressure
  • basic English communication skills

Job Duties

  • work all stations on a fast-paced line
  • set up, stock product, cook and present dishes according to Lazy Dog recipes
  • use only fresh high-quality ingredients
  • display proper recipe on monitor during preparation and cooking
  • adhere to recipe standards strictly
  • maintain food safety procedures and clean kitchen equipment
  • use PPE and follow safety guidelines
  • perform startup, shutdown, shift maintenance, and cleaning of cooking equipment
  • keep workstation clean and organized
  • report product, equipment, or food safety concerns immediately
  • focus on guest experience and multitask effectively
  • communicate basic English skills, Spanish a plus
  • be trusting, passionate, humble, and a team player
  • build relationships with trust and respect
  • create a fun work environment
