Job Requirements

  • high school diploma preferred
  • food handlers card (California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Nevada, Texas, Virginia)
  • 2 to 5 years experience working all stations on a fast-paced cooking line
  • basic English communication skills
  • ability to follow recipes and safety procedures precisely

  • knowledge of food safety procedures and kitchen sanitation
  • ability to maintain clean and organized workstations
  • basic knowledge of cooking equipment operation

Job Duties

  • manage all aspects of assigned cooking stations including setup, stocking, cooking and presenting dishes according to Lazy Dog recipes
  • ensure only fresh, high-quality ingredients are used in all recipes
  • verify proper recipe is displayed and adhered to during preparation
  • maintain clean, sanitized and organized workstation
  • follow food safety procedures and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment
  • demonstrate basic knowledge of cooking equipment operation including startup, maintenance, cleaning and repair
  • alert chef team immediately of any product, equipment or food safety concerns
