Job Requirements

Must be self-motivated and organized
Maintain a positive attitude and professional behavior
Proven cooking experience including as line chef or prep cook
Ability to walk stoop bend and stand for long periods
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Efficient multitasking and time management skills
Familiar with industry best practices

Job Qualifications

Proven cooking experience including line chef or prep cook
Excellent understanding of cooking methods ingredients equipment and procedures
Strong knowledge of proper food handling procedures
Knowledge and application of HACCP guidelines
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Strong multitasking and time management skills

Job Duties

Prepare food orders as they come in
Measure and assemble ingredients for menu items
Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
Prep food for use on next shift
Properly store food items at appropriate temperatures
Identify kitchen food needs and pull food from freezer to allow time for thawing
Notify Kitchen Leader of items needed before the item is completely out
