Job Requirements

  • High school education preferred
  • 2 to 5 years experience working on a fast-paced cooking line
  • Food Handlers Card valid in California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Nevada, Texas, or Virginia
  • Ability to follow recipes accurately
  • Capability to maintain cleanliness and safety standards
  • Basic English communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma preferred
  • 2 to 5 years of experience working on a fast-paced line and all stations
  • Knowledge of basic cooking equipment startup, shutdown, maintenance and cleaning
  • Basic English communication skills, Spanish a plus
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Passionate, humble, and team-oriented attitude

Job Duties

  • Manage assigned cooking stations including setup, stocking, cooking and presentation according to Lazy Dog recipes
  • Ensure the use of fresh, high-quality ingredients in all dishes
  • Display proper recipe on the monitor during preparation and cooking
  • Follow food safety procedures including cleaning, sanitizing and maintaining equipment, utensils and tools
  • Use personal protective equipment and follow safety guidelines to ensure a safe work environment
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen and chef team to alert any product, equipment or food safety concerns
