Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in cooking or food preparation preferred
  • Ability to follow recipes and standardized menus accurately
  • Must maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
  • Ability to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings or weekends
  • Must be able to stand for long periods
  • Compliance with company policies including drug-free workplace standards

Job Duties

  • Ensures proper preparation, portioning and serving of food according to standardized recipes and menus
  • Uses cutting tools, cookware and bakeware safely
  • Applies knowledge of cooking procedures and methods such as grilling, baking and boiling
  • Adheres to all sanitation and food safety standards
  • Maintains a clean kitchen
  • Prepares food in a timely manner at specified meal times
  • Supports team-based operations and applies training in daily duties
