Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
Previous experience working with the elderly preferred
Ability to read and comprehend order tickets, menus, and recipes in English
Valid food handler's permit
Pass a Department of Social and Health Services background check

Job Duties

Prepare quality food with minimal supervision
Be aware of special dietary menu items and prepare them as needed
Work quickly and efficiently while maintaining Chateau's food quality standards
Follow state regulations related to cleanliness, food storage guidelines, and equipment management in all food preparation and kitchen areas
Assist in preparations for catering or special events when needed
Assist with receiving and putting away incoming orders when needed
Other duties as assigned by the Culinary Services Director
