Job Requirements

  • prior experience working in a kitchen or food preparation environment
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • knowledge of safe food handling
  • ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • strong communication skills in English
  • physical stamina and dexterity
  • willingness to follow company policies and procedures

Job Duties

  • Prepare a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other food items using broilers, ovens, grills, fryers, and other kitchen equipment
  • comply with standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen policies
  • stock and maintain sufficient food product levels at line stations
  • portion food products prior to cooking according to recipe specifications
  • maintain a clean and sanitary work station
  • assist in food preparation during off-peak periods
  • close the kitchen properly according to checklist and assist others
  • attend all scheduled team meetings and training sessions
  • perform additional duties such as dishwashing and bussing
