Job Requirements
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, crouch, kneel, and reach for long periods
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 40 lbs
- Must be able to lift and carry heavy trays and multiple plates from kitchen to tables
- Must be able to safely use a ladder
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a cook in a high-volume environment
- Strong knowledge of various cooking methods and techniques
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to safely operate kitchen equipment
- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods and lift and carry up to 40 lbs
Job Duties
- Ensure the highest quality of culinary services for guests
- Quickly, safely, and efficiently prepare food according to preparation and execution standards
- Follow established portion control procedures to minimize food waste and maximize profitability
- Accurately utilize technology to recognize and complete food ticket orders
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area including equipment, countertops, walk-in coolers, and storage areas to ensure a safe and sanitary environment
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels, rotating ingredients, labeling prep items, receiving supplies, and notifying management of shortages or discrepancies
- Collaborate with kitchen team members to maintain efficient workflow and communicate effectively to ensure timely preparation and service of meals
- Assist with dishwashing and food prep duties as needed
- Maintain a high degree of cleanliness and sanitation standards at all times
- Follow all safety procedures
- Execute opening and closing procedures
- Remove trash and safely operate trash compactor
- Other duties as assigned
