Job Requirements

  • must be 18 years of age or older
  • must have reliable transportation
  • ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights
  • ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays
  • must be able to pass a background check
  • must adhere to uniform and grooming standards
  • non-slip shoes required
  • comply with health department and ServSafe regulations

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or GED
  • minimum 3 years experience in a multi-purpose, high volume kitchen operation
  • ability to read and interpret recipes and preparation lists
  • strong culinary knowledge and recipe creation skills
  • excellent customer service skills
  • ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
  • attention to detail
  • ability to follow health codes and safety regulations
  • positive attitude and team player
  • ability to maintain professional relationships

Job Duties

  • prepare hot and cold food items per standardized recipes
  • prepare food items for banquet orders and large groups
  • follow instructions given by the Executive Chef and Sous Chef
  • adhere to food safety, sanitation and food handling procedures
  • work efficiently on multiple orders simultaneously
  • maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work area
  • operate kitchen equipment safely according to instructions
