Job Requirements

  • Minimum three years food service experience in institutional cooking, catering, or kitchen operations

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge of menu planning, nutrition, and special diets preferred
  • Experience in human service environment preferred

Job Duties

  • Prepare meals according to department specifications
  • Ship meals to various sites in specified quantities and variety
  • Assist in planning, preparation, portioning, and packaging of foods
  • Set up and service catered events and functions
  • Collaborate with food service personnel, students, and volunteers
  • Direct kitchen associates, students, and drivers in absence of management
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
