Job Requirements

Valid food handlers permit
Less than 1 year of relevant experience
Ability to work weekends
Availability for 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM shifts
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Good communication skills
Physical ability to stand for long periods

Job Duties

Handling, preparing, and serving food in accordance with written menu and sanitation regulations
Preparing cafeteria food service and delivering food to customers
Restocking cafeteria supplies
Maintaining sanitation of work areas, dishes, and equipment
Maintaining inventory control, product rotation, labeling, and safe food handling practices to assure continued availability to customers
Interacting positively with patients and visitors to provide excellent customer service
Adhering to hospital food safety standards and policies
