Job Duties
- Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery, and service schedules
- Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning, meeting outlined standards, ensuring that food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty
- Uses established ticket collection procedures during service and is responsible for records from area worked
- Prepares and serves food items from an action station
- Demonstrates working knowledge of kitchen equipment such as flat top grill, fryer, heated display shelves, combi oven, steam kettles, tilt skillet, meat slicer
- Prepares ingredients, sauces, and other components for recipes
- Prepares grab and go items such as sandwiches, wraps, salads, vegetables, fruit, yogurt, desserts
- Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety
- Properly stores or discards excess food according to safe food-handling procedures
