Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- culinary arts training preferred
- two years of dietary experience
- must have knowledge of dietary procedures, as well as related laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to food service operations
- must possess leadership ability and willingness to work harmoniously with and supervise professional and non-professional personnel
- be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- primarily a standing position, may need to stand in one place for extended periods of time

Job Duties
- Assures all dietary procedures are followed
- must be able to operate all kitchen equipment safely and effectively including meat slicers, food processors, mixers, ovens, grills, steamers, dishwashers, dumb waiters, and warming cabinets
- assists in establishing food production line to ensure meals are prepared on time
- represents the community with a positive attitude and pride when interacting with potential residents and families
- prepares and serves nutritious meals ensuring high-quality presentation and flavorful meals for residents
