Job Requirements

  • Previous experience as a cook or in a fast-paced kitchen environment is preferred

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, ensuring that food is prepared to the highest standards of quality, taste, and presentation
  • Work efficiently to ensure timely delivery of food during busy periods while maintaining a clean and organized workstation
  • Stay up to date on all menu items, including ingredients, preparation methods, and presentation, and help with creating new menu items as needed
  • Ensure all food meets company standards for taste, temperature, and appearance before being served to customers
  • Follow all food safety guidelines and maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including properly storing ingredients and disposing of waste
  • Work effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth operations during shifts
  • Communicate clearly with team members and the kitchen manager
  • Help with the inventory of kitchen supplies, restocking ingredients, and ensuring proper rotation of food stock to prevent spoilage
  • Assist with general kitchen cleaning and organization during and after shifts, including washing dishes, cleaning cooking equipment, and ensuring the kitchen meets all health and safety regulations
