Job Requirements

High school degree or equivalent
Must be able to pass criminal background check
Valid food handlers card or able to obtain one upon hire
Previous experience as a busboy, washer, waiter, cook, or relevant work experience preferred
Physically able to stand and move during the length of shift
Able to bend and kneel through shift
Able to lift up to 35 pounds routinely

Job Qualifications

High school degree or equivalent
Previous experience in cooking or relevant kitchen roles preferred
Valid food handler's card or willingness to obtain one
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
Ability to follow dietary guidelines and prepare meals accordingly

Job Duties

Prepare and cook meals according to dietary guidelines and resident preferences
Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are maintained
Monitor kitchen supplies and inventory
Collaborate with care staff to accommodate specific dietary needs
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and cooking areas
Assist in menu planning and food preparation
Follow all health and safety regulations
