Job Requirements

  • High school degree or equivalent
  • Must be able to pass criminal background check
  • Valid food handlers card or able to obtain one upon hire
  • Previous experience as a busboy, washer, waiter, cook, or relevant work experience preferred
  • Physically able to stand and move during the length of shift
  • Able to bend and kneel through shift
  • Able to lift up to 35 pounds routinely

Job Qualifications

  • High school degree or equivalent
  • Previous experience in cooking or relevant kitchen roles preferred
  • Valid food handler's card or willingness to obtain one
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Ability to follow dietary guidelines and prepare meals accordingly

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook meals according to dietary guidelines and resident preferences
  • Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are maintained
  • Monitor kitchen supplies and inventory
  • Collaborate with care staff to accommodate specific dietary needs
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and cooking areas
  • Assist in menu planning and food preparation
  • Follow all health and safety regulations
