Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous culinary experience preferred
  • ability to follow recipes and food safety standards
  • knowledge of cooking methods and kitchen equipment

  • willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner food items per guest order in accordance with production requirements and quality standards while maintaining a safe, sanitary work environment
  • maintain food storage and handling procedures
  • maintain food quality and nutritional standards
  • perform technical culinary food production, portion control, and service standards
  • follow production schedule
  • prepare meats, poultry, game, fish, vegetables, and fruits including washing, peeling, cutting, weighing, and measuring ingredients
  • cook using methods such as steaming, sautéing, frying, baking, roasting, braising, boiling, poaching, and broiling
  • maintain cooking temperature, product cooling and labeling
  • lift and move equipment to and from work stations, stove, and refrigerator
  • maintain a clean and sanitary work station and equipment including distributing supplies and utensils
  • stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at work station to ensure smooth service period
  • follow proper plate presentation and garnish setup for all dishes
  • properly store, rotate, and manage all food products according to local, state, federal, and company guidelines and procedures
