Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in a kitchen or food service environment preferred
- Ability to comply with food safety standards
- Capacity to perform physical tasks related to cooking and cleaning
- Willingness to undergo background check including criminal records, sexual offender registry, and fingerprinting
- Availability to work five hours per day Monday through Friday
- Reliable and punctual work ethic
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in food preparation or cooking preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for portion control
Job Duties
- Prepare and cook meals according to established menus and nutritional guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and cooking areas
- Follow food safety regulations and procedures
- Assist with inventory management and storage of food supplies
- Serve meals to students and staff while ensuring portion control
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate meal preparation
- Monitor kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues
