Job Qualifications
- Strong culinary background with hands-on experience in high-volume kitchens
- Exceptional knife skills, knowledge, and mastery of techniques
- Natural leadership abilities with a team-first mindset
- The desire to support your team’s success
- Culinary education and/or on the job training, hotel experience preferred
- Minimum three years working in Garde Manger is preferred
- Experience with training, basic financial management, and customer service preferred
- Proficient in general computer knowledge
- Strong training and communication skills
Job Duties
- Take charge of food production and kitchen operations
- Supervise and mentor kitchen staff to ensure consistency, efficiency, and excellence
- Collaborate with chefs on menu innovation, special events, and holiday offerings
- Ensure food safety, sanitation, and equipment maintenance standards are always met
- Assist in managing schedules, training, evaluations, and daily communication within the kitchen
- Lead by example with professionalism, precision, and pride in your craft
- Contribute to achieving outstanding guest satisfaction and team engagement scores
