Job Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum of 6 months to 1-year experience in a similar role
  • Food Handlers Certification required

  • Knowledge of restaurant best practices and cooking methods
  • Food Handlers Certification required

Job Duties

  • Prepares all food items according to standard recipes for the Team Member Cafeteria
  • Ensures compliance with all hotel policies and procedures that relate to food and beverage, as well as local, state, and federal laws and regulations
  • Checks and controls the proper storage of product, monitoring age and condition of all food items to rotate and maintain highest quality
  • Keeps all refrigeration equipment, storage and working areas clean and clutter free, complying with Health department regulations
  • Prepares daily requisitions for supplies and food items for production
  • Reads and employs math skills to follow recipes
  • Other duties as assigned by Sous Chef's or Executive Chef
