Job Requirements
- At least high school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a line cook or similar foodservice role
- Ability to stand and walk for entire shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to perform repetitive motions
- Ability to work in variable temperatures
- Ability to coordinate multiple orders simultaneously
Job Qualifications
- Ability to understand recipes and food abbreviations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail
- Ability to follow procedures and work in a team environment
- Basic math skills for recipe measurements
- At least 2 years of experience in back-of-the-house foodservice
- Ability to read and comprehend prep sheets
- Ability to calculate and follow recipe measurements
Job Duties
- Follow assignments for opening and closing procedures
- Prepare food and beverage products following recipe guidelines
- Set up and operate kitchen equipment
- Keep workstation and equipment clean, organized, and sufficiently stocked
- View menus and customer orders to determine food preparation quantities and comply with portion sizes and quality standards
- Use waste control guidelines and record all waste
- Perform opening, closing, and side work duties and end-of-day inventory
