Job Requirements

  • Food preparation skills and knowledge of HACCP standards
  • Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to bend, twist, and stand for extended periods
  • Ability to speak, read, and comprehend instructions and policy documents
  • Comfortable working in hot environments and handling sharp utensils
  • Minimum of one year cooking experience in casual dining
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of one year of related cooking experience
  • Knowledge of food preparation techniques including Soups, Saute, Broiler, Fry, and Pantry
  • Ability to follow recipes and adhere to food safety standards
  • Strong communication skills to interact with team and customers
  • Experience in a high-volume casual dining environment preferred

Job Duties

  • Prepare cooked foods by following recipes and product directions
  • Communicate ticket times and potential issues to manager and servers
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations and equipment
  • Operate kitchen equipment such as fryers, griddles, and slicers
  • Measure and mix ingredients accurately
  • Stock, date, rotate, and check temperature of products
  • Practice excellent food safety and sanitation according to HACCP standards
