Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in a kitchen environment is desirable but not required
  • Ability to follow recipes and portion controls
  • Capability to stand for long periods
  • Must be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization
  • Willingness to learn and adapt

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in a line cook or similar kitchen role is an advantage
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good communication and teamwork skills

Job Duties

  • Follow all recipes and practice portion control to prepare, garnish, and present ordered items
  • Maintain proper and adequate set-up of the kitchen/station on a daily basis
  • Requisition and stock all required food, paper products, and condiments
  • Handle, store, and rotate all products properly
  • Responsible for set-up, regular maintenance, cleaning, and breakdown of any machinery and equipment
  • Maintain stock, cutting, and storage of all perishables daily to ensure product quality
  • Complete opening, ongoing, and closing checklists as required
  • Take responsibility for quality of products served
  • Perform general and specific cleaning tasks using standard cleaning products as assigned by supervisor
  • Other duties as assigned
