Job Requirements

  • ability to lead the entire culinary team to ensure highest product quality and productivity

Job Qualifications

  • Self-starter who works independently with minimal supervision
  • ability to work rotating shifts including holidays, weekends, and overtime
  • strong organizational, analytical, communication, and leadership skills
  • bilingual English and Spanish a plus
  • legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • ability to read and interpret loading instructions, diagrams, and food menu specifications
  • highly flexible, analytical, and a pro-active team player
  • excellent knowledge of food and hygiene standards
  • valid Food Handlers Certificate recognized by local authorities such as SERV Safe
  • meticulous time management skills with strong attention to detail
  • airline catering industry knowledge is a plus

Job Duties

  • Lead and manage the culinary team including prep cooks and helpers
  • maintain passion and dedication to gourmet food preparation
  • comply with all food safety rules and regulations
  • read and execute corporate recipes accurately
  • clean and sanitize work station as needed and at the end of each shift
  • update and maintain waste logs for financial control review
  • complete Food Safety and Quality (FSQ) logs in real time according to standards
  • follow working and batch recipes using proper tools such as scales and scoops
