Job Requirements

  • At least 1 year of related work experience
  • No supervisor experience required
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally
  • Ability to follow company safety policies and procedures

  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • Ability to work in dynamic environments

Job Duties

  • Meet with group coordinators or hosts before the reception, perform introductions, and confirm all event preparations
  • Read and analyze banquet event orders to gather guest information, determine proper organization, timeline, and specific guest needs
  • Attend to and strive to fulfill all special banquet event preparations
  • Follow up on special banquet event preparations to ensure compliance
  • Comply with all company safety policies and procedures
  • Report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries
  • Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance
  • Uphold the privacy of proprietary company information and protect company assets
  • Support coworkers and treat them with dignity and respect
  • Assist the team in achieving common goals
  • Meet quality assurance expectations and standards
  • Move, lift, transport, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance
  • Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods during work shifts
  • Visually read and verify information in various formats
  • Inspect tools, equipment, or machinery for defects
  • Reach above head and below knees, including bending, twisting, crawling, and stooping
  • Navigate narrow, confined, or elevated spaces
  • Move on inclined, uneven, or slippery surfaces and stairways
  • Ascend and descend stairways and/or service ramps
  • Greet and acknowledge all guests according to company standards
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with others
  • Answer telephone calls using appropriate etiquette
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors
