Job Requirements

  • Minimum of two years convention services and or hotel operations experience
  • Five years experience as an administrative assistant or office administrator with increasing responsibilities in a high-volume environment
  • High school education or equivalent
  • College degree preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Superior interpersonal skills with an acute sense of detail
  • Ability to communicate effectively and establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff
  • Minimum of two years convention services and or hotel operations experience

  • Hotel knowledge preferred
  • High school education or equivalent
  • College degree preferred

Job Duties

  • Provide administrative support including answering phones, taking catering inquiries, assisting Convention Services managers
  • Serve as administrative coordinator and liaison for the catering department
  • Sell and contract all events for 25 people or less
  • Service all sold events
  • Work with Banquets and Conference Concierge to execute events
  • Organize and maintain the departmental filing system
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
