Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years experience in convention services and event planning
- Proficiency with Delphi event management software
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to multitask and manage priorities effectively
- Capacity to work independently and lead teams
- Flexibility to work varied schedules including evenings and weekends
- Knowledge of digital sales and PMS tools
- Customer service orientation
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience in convention services and event planning of at least 2 years
- Must have Delphi experience
- Hilton experience a plus
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under minimal supervision
- Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-focused attitude
- Proficiency with digital sales systems such as Delphi, PMS, and Microsoft Office suite
- Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed
Job Duties
- Deliver outstanding customer service to internal and external clients
- Manage all event details from planning through post-event, including room blocks, contracts, billing, and deadlines
- Collaborate with teams to forecast and maximize group room and food and beverage revenue
- Develop strong knowledge of hotel services and utilize digital sales and PMS tools effectively
- Attend client functions and work varied schedules as needed
- Work independently and lead teams, fostering collaboration and proactive decision-making
- Meet performance goals and support career growth through training opportunities
- Adhere to company policies and management requests
