Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in convention services and event planning
  • Proficiency with Delphi event management software
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage priorities effectively
  • Capacity to work independently and lead teams
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules including evenings and weekends
  • Knowledge of digital sales and PMS tools
  • Customer service orientation

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience in convention services and event planning of at least 2 years
  • Must have Delphi experience
  • Hilton experience a plus
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under minimal supervision
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-focused attitude
  • Proficiency with digital sales systems such as Delphi, PMS, and Microsoft Office suite
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed

Job Duties

  • Deliver outstanding customer service to internal and external clients
  • Manage all event details from planning through post-event, including room blocks, contracts, billing, and deadlines
  • Collaborate with teams to forecast and maximize group room and food and beverage revenue
  • Develop strong knowledge of hotel services and utilize digital sales and PMS tools effectively
  • Attend client functions and work varied schedules as needed
  • Work independently and lead teams, fostering collaboration and proactive decision-making
  • Meet performance goals and support career growth through training opportunities
  • Adhere to company policies and management requests
