Job Requirements
- Willing and able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Strong computer skills with technical ability to use Microsoft Office and management systems
- Minimum 2-5 years catering sales or conference services experience preferably as a manager in a luxury hotel
- Ability to handle multiple high-level clients
- Polished guest service skills
- Ability to exceed expectations for luxury clientele
- Enthusiastic about improving service quality

- Ensure guest satisfaction during pre-planning and event

Job Qualifications
- Minimum 2-5 years experience in catering sales or conference/convention services preferably as a manager in a luxury hotel
- Strong computer knowledge with ability to use Microsoft Office Suite and management systems
- Ability to manage multiple high-level clients
- Polished expertise in hotel guest experience
- Demonstrated ability to exceed expectations for high-end clientele
- Enthusiasm for raising service standards and quality
- Ability to anticipate guest and client needs based on experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Delphi or equivalent training
- Bachelor’s degree in related specification preferred
- Certified Meeting Planner preferred
Job Duties
- Prepare resumes for groups ten days prior to group arrival and review details in weekly staff meetings
- Adhere to Catering and Conference Services Department’s standard operating procedures
- Help establish and maintain hotel’s marketplace position within social and corporate communities
- Follow standard operation procedures to handle all steps in event planning adhering to hotel protocol
- Ensure successful site inspections and client visits through careful planning and communication
- Achieve high Medallia scores by establishing good rapport with clients and ensuring their expectations are met during conferences
- Generate high revenue by maximizing contracted rooms, function space, and catering events
- Conduct pre- and post-conference meetings when agreed with clients
- Service all current and future client accounts according to hotel standards
- Communicate with banquet managers for all related functions and client requests
- Ensure banquet event orders are accurate and delivered 15 days prior to event
- Adhere to selling policies set by Director of Sales and Marketing
- Be available to hotel managers while on property
- Upsell revenue opportunities
- Participate in regular and operational meetings
- Coordinate all aspects of conferences including food and beverage, audio-visual, room setup, transportation, check-in/out, special meal requests, billing, and entertainment
