Job Requirements

  • Successful completion of a criminal background check is required prior to employment
  • 2+ years of experience in convention services, catering, or event planning in a hotel or hospitality setting
  • Proven experience managing multiple events and client accounts simultaneously
  • Familiarity with event management software, hotel property management systems (PMS), and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Communications, or related field preferred
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered

Job Duties

  • Collaborate closely with clients to understand their event objectives and translate them into detailed, executable plans
  • Serve as the point of contact from contract turnover through post-event follow-up, ensuring seamless coordination between departments
  • Conduct pre-convention meetings and walkthroughs, communicate event details with precision, and respond to last-minute requests with poise and professionalism
  • Support the sales team by contributing to the pre-event planning process and offering creative, on-brand solutions that elevate the guest experience
  • Proactively identify opportunities for operational improvement, upselling, and guest satisfaction enhancements
  • Build strong, lasting relationships with clients to encourage loyalty and future bookings
  • Partner closely with Sales, Catering, and Operations teams to deliver a unified and elevated client experience
